  1. so that if any one is in Christ-- he is a new creature; the old things did pass away, lo, become new have the all things.

  11. there doth remain, then, a sabbatic rest to the people of God,

  12. And because of this, of a new covenant he is mediator, that, death having come, for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, those called may receive the promise of the age-during inheritance,

  13. for also with my bonds ye sympathised, and the robbery of your goods with joy ye did receive, knowing that ye have in yourselves a better substance in the heavens, and an enduring one.

  14. Ye may not cast away, then, your boldness, which hath great recompense of reward,

  15. and apart from faith it is impossible to please well, for it behoveth him who is coming to God to believe that He is, and to those seeking Him He becometh a rewarder.

  16. for he was looking for the city having the foundations, whose artificer and constructor is God.

  17. but now they long for a better, that is, an heavenly, wherefore God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God, for He did prepare for them a city.

  18. greater wealth having reckoned the reproach of the Christ than the treasures in Egypt, for he did look to the recompense of reward;

  19. looking to the author and perfecter of faith--Jesus, who, over-against the joy set before him--did endure a cross, shame having despised, on the right hand also of the throne of God did sit down;

  20. wherefore, a kingdom that cannot be shaken receiving, may we have grace, through which we may serve God well-pleasingly, with reverence and religious fear;

  21. Happy the man who doth endure temptation, because, becoming approved, he shall receive the crown of the life, which the Lord did promise to those loving Him.

  22. to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and unfading, reserved in the heavens for you,

  23. and at the manifestation of the chief Shepherd, ye shall receive the unfading crown of glory.

  24. beloved, now, children of God are we, and it was not yet manifested what we shall be, and we have known that if he may be manifested, like him we shall be, because we shall see him as he is;

  25. and this is the testimony, that life age-during did God give to us, and this--the life--is in His Son;
