  13. `I did sin, having delivered up innocent blood;' and they said, `What--to us? thou shalt see!'

  14. And Pilate having seen that it profiteth nothing, but rather a tumult is made, having taken water, he did wash the hands before the multitude, saying, `I am innocent from the blood of this righteous one; ye--ye shall see;'

  15. and there was one named Barabbas, bound with those making insurrection with him, who had in the insurrection committed murder.

  20. Swift are their feet to shed blood.

  21. for, `Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false testimony, Thou shalt not covet;' and if there is any other command, in this word it is summed up, in this: `Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself;'

  22. envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revellings, and such like, of which I tell you before, as I also said before, that those doing such things the reign of God shall not inherit.

  23. who did both put to death the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and did persecute us, and God they are not pleasing, and to all men are contrary,

  24. having known this, that for a righteous man law is not set, but for lawless and insubordinate persons, ungodly and sinners, impious and profane, parricides and matricides, men-slayers,

  25. and to a mediator of a new covenant--Jesus, and to blood of sprinkling, speaking better things than that of Abel!
