  20. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

  21. and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace;

  22. above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.

  23. who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;

  24. having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

  25. because we wanted to come to you—indeed, I, Paul, once and again—but Satan hindered us.
