  8. Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

  9. Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

  10. The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity.

  11. At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.

  12. Behold, thy people in the midst of thee are women: the gates of thy land shall be set wide open unto thine enemies: the fire shall devour thy bars.

  13. For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.

  19. And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre.

  20. And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.

  21. ¶ And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

  22. And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

  23. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

  24. And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

  25. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
