  1. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

  11. And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.

  12. Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

  13. For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.

  14. For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

  15. Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

  16. He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

  17. Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:

  18. ¶ And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.

  19. Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:

  20. He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.

  21. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

  22. That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

  23. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

  24. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

  25. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
