  1. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

  6. ¶ And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

  7. For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

  8. But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

  9. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

  10. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

  11. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

  12. He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

  13. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

  14. And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

  15. For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

  16. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

  17. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

  18. And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

  19. Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

  20. He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

  21. But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

  22. And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

  23. And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

  24. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

  25. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
