  1. Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

  2. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

  3. Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?

  4. It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

  10. And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;

  11. And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,

  12. An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

  13. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

  14. Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

  15. Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

  16. For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

  17. For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.

  18. Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

  19. And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

  20. For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

  21. But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

  22. ¶ Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

  23. Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

  24. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

  25. Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
