  1. He hath subdued the people under us; and the nations under our feet.

  8. The blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead rise again, the poor have the gospel preached to them.

  9. And blessed is he that shall not be scandalized in me.

  10. And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.

  11. Going therefore, teach ye all nations: baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.

  12. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.

  13. And after that John was delivered up, Jesus came in Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

  14. And saying: The time is accomplished and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe the gospel:

  15. And Zachary his father was filled with the Holy Ghost. And he prophesied, saying:

  16. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel: because he hath visited and wrought the redemption of his people.

  17. And hath raised up an horn of salvation to us, in the house of David his servant.

  18. As he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets, who are from the beginning.

  19. Salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all that hate us.

  20. To perform mercy to our fathers and to remember his holy testament.

  21. The oath, which he swore to Abraham our father, that he would grant to us.

  22. That being delivered from the hand of our enemies, we may serve him without fear:

  23. In holiness and justice before him, all our days.

  24. And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt, go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways:

  25. To give knowledge of salvation to his people, unto the remission of their sins.
