  1. I will make all the lights of heaven to mourn over thee and I will cause darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord God, when thy wounded shall fall in the midst of the land, saith the Lord God.

  2. But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light.

  3. And the stars of heaven shall be falling down and the powers that are in heaven shall be moved.

  4. And it was almost the sixth hour: and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

  9. And the stars from heaven fell upon the earth, as the fig tree casteth its green figs when it is shaken by a great wind.

  10. And the heaven departed as a book folded up. And every mountain, and the islands, were moved out of their places.

  11. And the third angel sounded the trumpet: and a great star fell from heaven, burning as it were a torch. And it fell on the third part of the rivers and upon the fountains of waters:

  12. And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And the third part of the waters became wormwood. And many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

  13. And the fourth angel sounded the trumpet: and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars, so that the third part of them was darkened. And the day did not shine for a third part of it: and the night in like manner.

  14. And the fifth angel sounded the trumpet: and I saw a star fall from heaven upon the earth. And there was given to him the key of the bottomless pit.

  15. And he opened the bottomless pit: and the smoke of the pit arose, as the smoke of a great furnace. And the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke of the pit.

  16. And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head: and his face, as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire.

  17. And he had in his hand a little book, open. And he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot upon the earth.

  18. And there was seen another sign in heaven. And behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and on his heads seven diadems.

  19. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered: that, when she should be delivered, he might devour her son.

  20. And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun. And it was given unto him to afflict men with heat and fire.

  21. And men were scorched with great heat: and they blasphemed the name of God, who hath power over these plagues. Neither did they penance to give him glory.

  22. And I saw heaven opened: and behold a white horse. And he that sat upon him was called faithful and true: and with justice doth he judge and fight.

  23. And his eyes were as a flame of fire: and on his head were many diadems. And he had a name written, which no man knoweth but himself.

  24. And he was clothed with a garment sprinkled with blood. And his name is called: THE WORD OF GOD.

  25. And the armies that are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
