Bible Verses About Demons
Key Bible Verses
Then a spirit stepped up, stood in front of ADONAI and said, 'I will entice him.'
ADONAI asked, 'How?' and he answered, 'I will go and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets.' ADONAI said, 'You will succeed in enticing him. Go, and do it.'
So now ADONAI has put a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours; meanwhile, ADONAI has ordained disaster for you."
"When an unclean spirit comes out of a person, it travels through dry country seeking rest and does not find it.
Then it says to itself, `I will return to the house I left.' When it arrives, it finds the house standing empty, swept clean and put in order.
Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they come and live there -- so that in the end, the person is worse off than he was before. This is how it will be for this wicked generation."

"What do you want with us, Yeshua from Natzeret? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are -- the Holy One of God!"
The Torah-teachers who came down from Yerushalayim said, "He has Ba`alZibbul in him," and "It is by the ruler of the demons that he expels the demons."
But he called them and spoke to them in parables: "How can Satan expel Satan?
If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom can't survive;
and if a household is divided against itself, that household can't survive.
So if Satan has rebelled against himself and is divided, he can't survive either; and that's the end of him.
Furthermore, no one can break into a strong man's house and make off with his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. After that, he can ransack his house.
Yes! I tell you that people will be forgiven all sins and whatever blasphemies they utter;
however, someone who blasphemes against the Ruach HaKodesh never has forgiveness but is guilty of an eternal sin."
For they had been saying, "He has an unclean spirit in him."
After Yeshua had gone indoors, his talmidim asked him privately, "Why couldn't we drive it out?"
He said to them "This is the kind of spirit that can be driven out only by prayer."
Then some of the Jewish exorcists who traveled from place to place tried to make use of the name of the Lord Yeshua in connection with people who had evil spirits. They would say, “I exorcise you by the Yeshua that Sha’ul is proclaiming!”
One time, seven sons of a Jewish cohen gadol named Skeva were doing this;
and the evil spirit answered them. It said, “Yeshua I know. And Sha’ul I recognize. But you? Who are you?”
Then the man with the evil spirit fell upon them, overpowered them and gave them such a beating that they ran from the house, naked and bleeding.
No, what I am saying is that the things which pagans sacrifice, they sacrifice not to God but to demons; and I don’t want you to become sharers of the demons!
You can’t drink both a cup of the Lord and a cup of demons, you can’t partake in both a meal of the Lord and a meal of demons.
