Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thy heart: thou shalt surely rebuke thy neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.
Let the righteous smite me, it shall bea kindness; And let him reprove me, it shall be asoil upon the head; Let not my head refuse it: For even in their wickedness shall my prayer continue.
He that correcteth a scoffer getteth to himself reviling; And he that reproveth a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
Reprove not a scoffer, lest he hate thee: Reprove a wise man, and he will love thee.
He is in the way of life that heedeth correction; But he that forsaketh reproof erreth.
Whoso loveth correction loveth knowledge; But he that hateth reproof is brutish.
Poverty and shameshall be tohim that refuseth correction; But he that regardeth reproof shall be honored.
A fool despiseth his father’s correction; But he that regardeth reproof getteth prudence.
There is grievous correction for him that forsaketh the way; And he that hateth reproof shall die.

A rebuke entereth deeper into one that hath understanding Than a hundred stripes into a fool.
Smite a scoffer, and the simple will learn prudence; And reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
When the scoffer is punished, the simple is made wise; And when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.
Asan ear-ring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, So isa wise reprover upon an obedient ear.
Answer a fool according to his folly, Lest he be wise in his own conceit.
Better is open rebuke Than love that is hidden.
Faithful are the wounds of a friend; But the kisses of an enemy are profuse.
He that rebuketh a man shall afterward find more favor Than he that flattereth with the tongue.
It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.
They hate him that reproveth in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.
And if thy brother sin against thee, go, show him his fault between thee and him alone: if he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
But if he hear thee not, take with thee one or two more, that at the mouth of two witnesses or three every word may be established.
And if he refuse to hear them, tell it unto the church: and if he refuse to hear the church also, let him be unto thee as the Gentile and the publican.
