  1. and he saw two boats standing by the lake: but the fishermen had gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

  2. And he entered into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And he sat down and taught the multitudes out of the boat.

  3. And when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

  8. For he was amazed, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken;

  9. and so were also James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

  10. And when they had brought their boats to land, they left all, and followed him.

  12. And he said unto them, But who say ye that I am? And Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

  13. And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and make ready for us the passover, that we may eat.

  19. And they seized him, and led himaway, and brought him into the high priest’s house. But Peter followed afar off.

  20. And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the court, and had sat down together, Peter sat in the midst of them.

  21. And a certain maid seeing him as he sat in the light of the fire, and looking stedfastly upon him, said, This man also was with him.

  22. But he denied, saying, Woman, I know him not.

  23. And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou also art one of them. But Peter said, Man, I am not.

  24. And after the space of about one hour another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this man also was with him; for he is a Galilæan.

  25. But Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.
