  1. I give thanks to my God always concerning you for the grace of God that was given to you in Christ Jesus,

  2. faithful is God, through whom ye were called to the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

  12. And I, having come unto you, brethren, came--not in superiority of discourse or wisdom--declaring to you the testimony of God,

  13. that your faith may not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

  14. but we speak the hidden wisdom of God in a secret, that God foreordained before the ages to our glory,

  15. but, according as it hath been written, `What eye did not see, and ear did not hear, and upon the heart of man came not up, what God did prepare for those loving Him--'

  16. but to us did God reveal them through His Spirit, for the Spirit all things doth search, even the depths of God,

  17. for who of men hath known the things of the man, except the spirit of the man that is in him? so also the things of God no one hath known, except the Spirit of God.

  18. And we the spirit of the world did not receive, but the Spirit that is of God, that we may know the things conferred by God on us,

  19. and the natural man doth not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for to him they are foolishness, and he is not able to know them , because spiritually they are discerned;

  20. I planted, Apollos watered, but God was giving growth;

  21. so that neither is he who is planting anything, nor he who is watering, but He who is giving growth--God;

  22. for of God we are fellow-workmen; God's tillage, God's building ye are.

  23. According to the grace of God that was given to me, as a wise master-builder, a foundation I have laid, and another doth build on it ,

  24. have ye not known that ye are a sanctuary of God, and the Spirit of God doth dwell in you?

  25. if any one the sanctuary of God doth waste, him shall God waste; for the sanctuary of God is holy, the which ye are.
