  1. The one lamb you shall offer in the morning; and the other lamb you shall offer at evening:

  2. and with the one lamb a tenth part of an efah of fine flour mixed with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil, and the fourth part of a hin of wine for a drink offering.

  3. The other lamb you shall offer at evening, and shall do to it according to the meal offering of the morning, and according to its drink offering, for a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to the LORD.

  9. and ate and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. They made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him to the LORD to be prince, and Zadok to be priest.

  10. Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.

  11. I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.

  12. For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.

  13. I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine.

  14. If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.

  15. Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

  16. Thus says the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel: “Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices, and eat meat.

  17. For I didn’t speak to your fathers, nor command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

  18. but this thing I commanded them, saying, ‘Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people; and walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’

  19. Previously saying, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you didn’t desire, neither had pleasure in them” (those which are offered according to the Torah),

  20. then he has said, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He takes away the first, that he may establish the second,

  21. by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Yeshua the Messiah once for all.
