  1. Let us therefore go out to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach.

  10. Therefore I will not be negligent to remind you of these things, though you know them, and are established in the present truth.

  11. I think it right, as long as I am in this tent, to stir you up by reminding you;

  12. Yes, I will make every effort that you may always be able to remember these things even after my departure.

  13. For if God didn’t spare angels when they sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus, and committed them to pits of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;

  14. and didn’t spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah with seven others, a proclaimer of righteousness, when he brought a flood on the world of the ungodly;

  15. Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight.

  16. I have no greater joy than this, to hear about my children walking in truth.

  17. Beloved, you do a faithful work in whatever you accomplish for those who are brothers and strangers.

  18. They have testified about your love before the assembly. You will do well to send them forward on their journey in a way worthy of God,

  19. because for the sake of the Name they went out, taking nothing from the Gentiles.

  20. Beloved, while I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I was constrained to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the holy ones.

  21. On some have compassion, making a distinction,

  22. and some save, snatching them out of the fire with fear, hating even the clothing stained by the flesh.

  23. As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

  24. And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look in it.

  25. One of the elders said to me, “Don’t weep. Behold, the Lion who is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome; he who opens the book and its seven seals.”
