  1. If it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

  24. and give him no rest, until he establishes, and until he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

  25. Those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the expanse; and those who turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.
