  1. If it seems bad to you to serve ADONAI, then choose today whom you are going to serve! Will it be the gods your ancestors served beyond the River? or the gods of the Emori, in whose land you are living? As for me and my household, we will serve ADONAI!"

  22. "Arise, shine [Yerushalayim], for your light has come, the glory of ADONAI has risen over you.

  23. I have posted watchmen on your walls, Yerushalayim; they will never fall silent, neither by day nor by night. You who call on ADONAI, give yourselves no rest;

  24. and give him no rest till he restores Yerushalayim and makes it a praise on earth.

  25. But those who can discern will shine like the brightness of heaven's dome, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.
