  1. The king commanded, and they brought those men who had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions mauled them, and broke all their bones in pieces, before they came to the bottom of the den.

  22. Pilate therefore said to them, “Take him yourselves, and judge him according to your law.” Therefore the Judeans said to him, “It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death,”

  23. They threw him out of the city, and stoned him. The witnesses placed their garments at the feet of a young man named Saul.

  24. They stoned Stephen as he called out, saying, “Lord Yeshua, receive my spirit!”

  25. He killed Jacob, the brother of Yochanan, with the sword.
