  1. He said, “Certainly I will be with you. This will be the token to you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

  12. Set up a banner on the bare mountain! Lift up your voice to them! Wave your hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

  20. They sacrifice on the tops of the mountains, and burn incense on the hills, under oaks and poplars and terebinths, because its shade is good. Therefore your daughters play the prostitute, and your brides commit adultery.

  21. The mountains melt under him, and the valleys split apart, like wax before the fire, like waters that are poured down a steep place.

  22. The mountains quake before him, and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, yes, the world, and all who dwell in it.

  23. Again, the devil took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory.

  24. Seeing the multitudes, he went up onto the mountain. When he had sat down, his disciples came to him.
