  1. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

  2. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

  3. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  5. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

  9. But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

  10. For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;

  11. And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?

  12. But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.

  13. Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

  14. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

  15. But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof:

  16. Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience?

  17. For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

  18. Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

  19. Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

  20. ¶ Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

  21. Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

  22. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

  23. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

  24. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

  25. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
