  1. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

  17. By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;

  18. As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

  19. As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

  20. ¶ O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.

  21. Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

  22. According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

  23. ¶ For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

  24. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
