  1. And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.

  17. ¶ But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

  18. And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

  19. And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
