  1. And he saide vnto them, This is my blood of that newe Testament, which is shed for many.

  2. And they gaue him to drinke wine mingled with myrrhe: but he receiued it not.

  3. For he shalbe great in the sight of the Lord, and shall neither drinke wine, nor strong drinke: and he shalbe filled with the holy Ghost, euen from his mothers wombe.

  4. Also no man that drinketh olde wine, straightway desireth newe: for he sayth, The olde is more profitable.

  5. And went to him, and bound vp his wounds, and powred in oyle and wine, and put him on his owne beast, and brought him to an Inne, and made prouision for him.

  7. For I say vnto you, I will not drinke of the fruite of the vine, vntill the kingdome of God be come.

  8. And he tooke bread, and when he had giuen thankes, he brake it, and gaue to them, saying, This is my body, which is giuen for you: doe this in the remembrance of me.

  9. Likewise also after supper he tooke the cup, saying, This cup is that newe Testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

  10. The souldiers also mocked him, and came and offered him vineger,

  11. Nowe when the wine failed, the mother of Iesus saide vnto him, They haue no wine.

  12. Nowe when the gouernour of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, (for he knewe not whence it was: but the seruants, which drewe the water, knewe) the gouernour of ye feast called the bridegrome,

  13. And saide vnto him, All men at the beginning set foorth good wine, and when men haue well drunke, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept backe the good wine vntill nowe.

  14. Then Iesus saide vnto them, Verely, verely I say vnto you, Except yee eate the flesh of the Sonne of man, and drinke his blood, yee haue no life in you.

  15. Whosoeuer eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternall life, and I will raise him vp at the last day.

  16. For my flesh is meat in deede, and my blood is drinke in deede.

  17. Hee that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

  18. And there was set a vessell full of vineger: and they filled a spondge with vineger: and put it about an Hyssope stalke, and put it to his mouth.

  19. It is good neither to eate flesh, nor to drinke wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or made weake.

  20. And be not drunke with wine, wherein is excesse: but be fulfilled with the Spirit,

  21. Drinke no longer water, but vse a litle wine for thy stomakes sake, and thine often infirmities.

  22. The elder women likewise, that they be in such behauiour as becommeth holinesse, not false accusers, not subiect to much wine, but teachers of honest things,

  23. With whom haue committed fornication the Kings of the earth, and the inhabitants of the earth are drunken with the wine of her fornication.

  24. For all nations haue drunken of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the Kings of the earth haue committed fornication with her, and the marchants of the earth are waxed rich of the abundance of her pleasures.

  25. And of cinamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oyle, and fine floure, and wheate, and beastes, and sheepe, and horses, and charets, and seruants, and soules of men.
