  1. And though after my skin wormes destroy this bodie, yet shall I see God in my flesh.

  2. For thou wilt not leaue my soule in the graue: neither wilt thou suffer thine holy one to see corruption.

  3. But God shall deliuer my soule from the power of the graue: for he will receiue me. Selah.

  7. And he sayde vnto me, Sonne of man, can these bones liue? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

  8. Againe he sayde vnto me, Prophecie vpon these bones and say vnto them, O ye dry bones, heare the word of the Lord.

  9. Thus saith the Lord God vnto these bones, Behold, I wil cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall liue.

  10. And I will lay sinewes vpon you, and make flesh growe vpon you, and couer you with skinne, and put breath in you, that ye may liue, and yee shall know that I am the Lord.

  11. So I prophecied, as I was commanded: and as I prophecied, there was a noyse, and beholde, there was a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

  12. And when I beheld, loe, the sinewes, and the flesh grewe vpon them, and aboue, the skinne couered them, but there was no breath in them.

  13. Then sayd he vnto me, Prophecie vnto the winde: prophecie, sonne of man, and say to the winde, Thus sayth the Lord God, Come from the foure windes, O breath, and breathe vpon these slayne, that they may liue.

  14. So I prophecied as hee had commanded me: and the breath came into them, and they liued, and stood vp vpon their feete, an exceeding great armie.

  15. And many of them that sleepe in the dust of the earth, shall awake, some to euerlasting life, and some to shame and perpetuall contempt.

  16. But go thou thy way til the end be: for thou shalt rest and stand vp in thy lot, at the end of ye daies.

  17. I wil redeeme them from the power of the graue: I will deliuer them from death: O death, I wil be thy death: O graue, I will be thy destruction: repentance is hid from mine eyes.

  18. And when the multitude were put foorth, hee went in and tooke her by the hande, and the maide arose.

  19. The same day the Sadduces came to him (which say that there is no resurrection) and asked him,

  20. Then Iesus answered, and sayd vnto them, Ye are deceiued, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.

  21. For in the resurrection they neither marie wiues, nor wiues are bestowed in mariage, but are as the Angels of God in heauen.

  22. And concerning the resurrection of the dead, haue ye not read what is spoken vuto you of God, saying,

  23. I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Iacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the liuing.

  24. And came out of the graues after his resurrection, and went into the holy citie, and appeared vnto many.

  25. Then Iesus answered, and saide vnto them, Are ye not therefore deceiued, because ye knowe not the Scriptures, neither the power of God?
