  1. And I shall be clothed again with my skin, and in my flesh I shall see my God.

  10. And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause flesh to grow over you, and will cover you with skin: and I will give you spirit and you shall live, and you shall know that I am the Lord.

  11. And I prophesied as he had commanded me: and as I prophesied there was a noise, and behold a commotion: and the bones came together, each one, its joint.

  12. And I saw, and behold the sinews, and the flesh came up upon them: and the skin was stretched out over them, but there was no spirit in them.

  13. And he said to me: Prophesy to the spirit, prophesy, O son of man, and say to the spirit: Thus saith the Lord God: Come, spirit, from the four winds, and blow upon these slain, and let them live again.

  14. And I prophesied as he had commanded me: and the spirit came into them, and they lived: and they stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

  15. And many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth, shall awake: some unto life everlasting, and others unto reproach, to see it always.

  16. But go thou thy ways until the time appointed: and thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot unto the end of the days.

  17. I will deliver them out of the hand of death. I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy death; O hell, I will be thy bite: comfort is hidden from my eyes.

  18. And when the multitude was put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand. And the maid arose.

  19. That day there came to him the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection; and asked him,

  20. And Jesus answering, said to them: You err, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.

  21. For in the resurrection they shall neither marry nor be married, but shall be as the angels of God in heaven.

  22. And concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken by God, saying to you:

  23. I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.

  24. And coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, came into the holy city and appeared to many.

  25. And Jesus answering, saith to them: Do ye not therefore err, because you know not the scriptures nor the power of God?
