  9. To these bones Adonai ELOHIM says, "I will make breath enter you, and you will live.

  10. I will attach ligaments to you, make flesh grow on you, cover you with skin and put breath in you. You will live, and you will know that I am ADONAI."'"

  11. So I prophesied as ordered; and while I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound; it was the bones coming together, each bone in its proper place.

  12. As I watched, ligaments grew on them, flesh appeared and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them.

  13. Next he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath! Prophesy, human being! Say to the breath that Adonai ELOHIM says, 'Come from the four winds, breath; and breathe on these slain, so that they can live.'"

  14. So I prophesied as ordered, and the breath came into them, and they were alive! They stood up on their feet, a huge army!

  15. Many of those sleeping in the dust of the earth will awaken, some to everlasting life and some to everlasting shame and abhorrence.

  16. But you, go your way until the end comes. Then you will rest and rise for your reward, at the end of days."

  18. But after the people had been put outside, he entered and took hold of the girl's hand, and she got up.

  19. That same day, some Tz'dukim came to him. They are the ones who say there is no such thing as resurrection, so they put to him a sh'eilah:

  20. Yeshua answered them, "The reason you go astray is that you are ignorant both of the Tanakh and of the power of God.

  21. For in the Resurrection, neither men nor women will marry; rather, they will be like angels in heaven.

  22. And as for whether the dead are resurrected, haven't you read what God said to you,

  23. `I am the God of Avraham, the God of Yitz'chak and the God of Ya`akov'? He is God not of the dead but of the living!"

  24. and after Yeshua rose, they came out of the graves and went into the holy city, where many people saw them.

  25. Yeshua said to them, "Isn't this the reason that you go astray? because you are ignorant both of the Tanakh and of the power of God?
