  1. I looked vpon my right hand, and beheld, but there was none that would knowe me: all refuge failed me, and none cared for my soule.

  10. I stretch forth mine hands vnto thee: my soule desireth after thee, as the thirstie land. Selah.

  11. Heare me speedily, O Lord, for my spirit fayleth: hide not thy face from me, els I shall be like vnto them that go downe into the pit.

  12. Let me heare thy louing kindenes in the morning, for in thee is my trust: shewe mee the way, that I should walke in, for I lift vp my soule vnto thee.

  13. Deliuer me, O Lord, from mine enemies: for I hid me with thee.

  14. Teach me to doe thy will, for thou art my God: let thy good Spirit leade me vnto the land of righteousnes.

  15. Quicken me, O Lord, for thy Names sake, and for thy righteousnesse bring my soule out of trouble.

  16. And for thy mercy slay mine enemies, and destroy all them that oppresse my soule: for I am thy seruant.

  17. A Psalme of David. Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth mine hands to fight, and my fingers to battell.

  18. He is my goodnes and my fortresse, my towre and my deliuerer, my shield, and in him I trust, which subdueth my people vnder me.

  19. Lord, what is man that thou regardest him! or the sonne of man that thou thinkest vpon him!

  20. Man is like to vanitie: his dayes are like a shadow, that vanisheth.

  21. Bow thine heauens, O Lord, and come downe: touch the mountaines and they shall smoke.

  22. Cast forth the lightning and scatter them: shoote out thine arrowes, and consume them.

  23. Send thine hand from aboue: deliuer me, and take me out of the great waters, and from the hand of strangers,

  24. Whose mouth talketh vanitie, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
