  1. Every morning I will remove all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off every evildoer from the city of the LORD.

  13. All day long I have held out My hands to an obstinate people who walk in the wrong path, who follow their own imaginations,

  14. How skillfully you pursue love! Even the most immoral of women could learn from your ways.

  15. “For My people are fools; they have not known Me. They are foolish children, without understanding. They are skilled in doing evil, but they know not how to do good.”

  16. All are hardened rebels, walking around as slanderers. They are bronze and iron; all of them are corrupt.

  17. They are obstinate and stubborn children. I am sending you to them, and you are to say to them, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says.’

  18. And whether they listen or refuse to listen—for they are a rebellious house—they will know that a prophet has been among them.

  19. And you, son of man, listen to what I tell you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I give you.”
