  19. Do not disregard the clamor of Your adversaries, the uproar of Your enemies that ascends continually.

  21. In the day of trouble I sought the Lord; through the night my outstretched hands did not grow weary; my soul refused to be comforted.

  22. Why should the nations ask, “Where is their God?” Before our eyes, make known among the nations Your vengeance for the bloodshed of Your servants.

  23. May the groans of the captives reach You; by the strength of Your arm preserve those condemned to death.

  24. Pay back into the laps of our neighbors sevenfold the reproach they hurled at You, O Lord.
