  1. He that slandereth not with his tongue, Nor doeth evil to his friend, Nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor;

  2. In whose eyes a reprobate is despised, But who honoreth them that fear Jehovah; He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not;

  3. He that putteth not out his money to interest, Nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

  4. Who shall ascend into the hill of Jehovah? And who shall stand in his holy place?

  11. For I was envious at the arrogant, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

  12. For there are no pangs in their death; But their strength is firm.

  13. They are not in trouble asothermen; Neither are they plagued likeothermen.

  14. Therefore pride is as a chain about their neck; Violence covereth them as a garment.

  15. Their eyes stand out with fatness: They have more than heart could wish.

  16. They scoff, and in wickedness utter oppression: They speak loftily.

  17. They have set their mouth in the heavens, And their tongue walketh through the earth.

  18. Therefore his people return hither: And waters of a fullcupare drained by them.

  19. And they say, How doth God know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?

  20. Behold, these are the wicked; And, being alway at ease, they increase in riches.

  21. Surely in vain have I cleansed my heart, And washed my hands in innocency;

  22. For all the day long have I been plagued, And chastened every morning.

  23. If I had said, I will speak thus; Behold, I had dealt treacherously with the generation of thy children.

  24. When I thought how I might know this, It was too painful for me;

  25. Until I went into the sanctuary of God, And considered their latter end.
