  1. Every one of them is gone back; they are together become filthy; There is none that doeth good, no, not one.

  11. And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

  12. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

  13. The hand of Jehovah was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of Jehovah, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.

  14. And he caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

  15. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord Jehovah, thou knowest.

  16. The godly man is perished out of the earth, and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

  17. Their hands are upon that which is evil to do it diligently; the prince asketh, and the judge is ready for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth the evil desire of his soul: thus they weave it together.

  18. The best of them is as a brier; the most upright is worse than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen, even thy visitation, is come; now shall be their perplexity.

  19. Ye offspring of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

  20. The good man out of his good treasure bringeth forth good things: and the evil man out of his evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

  21. For from within, out of the heart of men, evil thoughts proceed, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries,

  22. covetings, wickednesses, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, railing, pride, foolishness:

  23. all these evil things proceed from within, and defile the man.

  24. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world knew him not.

  25. He came unto his own, and they that were his own received him not.
