  1. Stir up, and wake to my judgment, My God, and my Lord, to my plea.

  17. They are desolate because of their shame, Who are saying to me, `Aha, aha.'

  18. These I remember, and pour out my soul in me, For I pass over into the booth, I go softly with them unto the house of God, With the voice of singing and confession, The multitude keeping feast!

  19. Sacrifice to God confession, And complete to the Most High thy vows.

  20. And call Me in a day of adversity, I deliver thee, and thou honourest Me.

  22. For my transgressions I do know, And my sin is before me continually.

  23. Against Thee, Thee only, I have sinned, And done the evil thing in Thine eyes, So that Thou art righteous in Thy words, Thou art pure in Thy judging.

  24. Turn back doth the evil thing to mine enemies, In Thy truth cut them off.

  25. To the Overseer with stringed instruments. --An instruction, by David. Give ear, O God, to my prayer, And hide not from my supplication.
