  1. till now ye did ask nothing in my name; ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

  2. and not as through one who did sin is the free gift, for the judgment indeed is of one to condemnation, but the gift is of many offences to a declaration of `Righteous,'

  3. for if by the offence of the one the death did reign through the one, much more those, who the abundance of the grace and of the free gift of the righteousness are receiving, in life shall reign through the one--Jesus Christ.

  4. So, then, as through one offence to all men it is to condemnation, so also through one declaration of `Righteous' it is to all men to justification of life;

  5. And having gifts, different according to the grace that was given to us; whether prophecy--`According to the proportion of faith!'

  6. or ministration--`In the ministration!' or he who is teaching--`In the teaching!'

  7. or he who is exhorting--`In the exhortation!' he who is sharing--`In simplicity!' he who is leading--`In diligence?' he who is doing kindness--`In cheerfulness.'

  8. that in every thing ye were enriched in him, in all discourse and all knowledge,

  9. according as the testimony of the Christ was confirmed in you,

  10. so that ye are not behind in any gift, waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,

  11. And there are diversities of gifts, and the same Spirit;

  12. and there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord;

  13. and there are diversities of workings, and it is the same God--who is working the all in all.

  14. And to each hath been given the manifestation of the Spirit for profit;

  15. for to one through the Spirit hath been given a word of wisdom, and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;

  16. and to another faith in the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healings in the same Spirit;

  17. and to another in-workings of mighty deeds; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; and to another divers kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues:

  18. and all these doth work the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each severally as he intendeth.

  19. and to each one of you was given the grace, according to the measure of the gift of Christ,

  20. wherefore, he saith, `Having gone up on high he led captive captivity, and gave gifts to men,' --

  21. because every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, with thanksgiving being received,

  22. for it is sanctified through the word of God and intercession.
