  11. for all the land which you see, I will give to you, and to your offspring forever.

  12. I will make your offspring as the dust of the earth, so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then your seed may also be numbered.

  13. Arise, walk through the land in its length and in its breadth; for I will give it to you.”

  14. When you have come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to imitate the abominations of those nations.

  15. There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer,

  16. or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

  17. and she said to the men, “I know that the LORD has given you the land, and that the fear of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land melt away before you.

  18. For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Sea of Suf before you, when you came out of Egypt; and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites, who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon and to Og, whom you utterly destroyed.

  19. As soon as we had heard it, our hearts melted, neither did there remain any more spirit in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and on earth beneath.

  24. They found Adoni-Bezek in Bezek, and they fought against him; and they struck the Canaanites and the Perizzites.

  25. But Adoni-Bezek fled; and they pursued him, and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his big toes.
