  1. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

  2. ¶ And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

  3. When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

  4. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

  11. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

  12. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

  13. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

  14. For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

  15. ¶ And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

  16. But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;

  17. And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;

  18. And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

  19. But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

  20. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

  21. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

  22. ¶ Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

  23. ¶ Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

  24. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

  25. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
