  1. Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

  2. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

  14. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

  15. ¶ But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

  16. ¶ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

  17. ¶ We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

  18. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

  19. ¶ We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

  20. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

  21. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

  22. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

  23. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

  24. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

  25. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
