  1. And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

  8. Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

  9. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

  10. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

  11. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

  12. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

  13. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

  14. As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

  15. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

  16. ¶ Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

  17. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

  18. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

  19. Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

  20. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

  21. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

  22. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

  23. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

  24. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

  25. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
