  1. Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:

  2. And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,

  3. And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.

  4. And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.

  5. And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.

  6. And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

  7. And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.

  8. And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

  9. And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water.

  10. Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.

  11. For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:

  12. When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD:

  13. So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations.

  14. And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

  15. And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.

  16. And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:

  17. When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.

  18. But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

  19. But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

  20. But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

  21. Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

  22. And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.

  23. And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.

  24. As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:

  25. And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.
