  1. ¶ A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing.

  2. For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,

  3. To call passengers who go right on their ways:

  4. Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,

  5. Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.

  6. But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.

  7. Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

  8. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

  9. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

  10. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

  11. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

  12. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

  13. And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

  14. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

  15. The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

  16. The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

  17. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

  18. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

  19. And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

  20. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

  21. And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

  22. Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

  23. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

  24. And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

  25. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
