  1. ¶ O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar.

  2. Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.

  11. Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

  12. But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.

  13. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

  14. Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it.

  15. And thou hast said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy thee the field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.

  16. ¶ And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

  17. And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

  18. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

  19. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

  20. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

  21. Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,

  22. And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

  23. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

  24. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

  25. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
