Bible Verses About Faith
Key Bible Verses
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shalbe able to separate vs from the loue of God, which is in Christ Iesus our Lord.
But Israel which followed the Lawe of righteousnes, could not arteine vnto the Law of righteousnes.
Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the workes of the Lawe: for they haue stumbled at the stumbling stone,
As it is written, Beholde, I lay in Sion a stumbling stone, and a rocke to make men fall: and euery one that beleeueth in him, shall not be ashamed.
But the righteousnes which is of faith, speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heauen? (that is to bring Christ from aboue)
Or, Who shall descend into the deepe? (that is to bring Christ againe from the dead)
But what sayth it? The worde is neere thee, euen in thy mouth, and in thine heart. This is the worde of faith which we preach.
For if thou shalt confesse with thy mouth the Lord Iesus, and shalt beleeue in thine heart, that God raised him vp from the dead, thou shalt be saued:
For with the heart man beleeueth vnto righteousnes, and with the mouth man confesseth to saluation.
For to one is giuen by the Spirit the word of wisdome: and to an other the word of knowledge, by the same Spirit:
And to another is giuen faith by the same Spirit: and to another the giftes of healing, by the same Spirit:
Wee are afflicted on euery side, yet are we not in distresse: we are in doubt, but yet wee despaire not.
We are persecuted, but not forsaken: cast downe, but we perish not.
Therefore we faint not, but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed daily.
For our light affliction which is but for a moment, causeth vnto vs a farre most excellent and an eternall waight of glorie:
While we looke not on the thinges which are seene, but on the things which are not seene: for the things which are seene, are temporall: but the things which are not seene, are eternall.
And he said vnto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect through weakenesse. Very gladly therefore will I reioyce rather in mine infirmities, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproches, in necessities, in persecutions, in anguish for Christes sake: for when I am weake, then am I strong.
O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the trueth, to whome Iesus Christ before was described in your sight, and among you crucified?
This only would I learne of you, Receiued ye the Spirit by the workes of the Lawe, or by the hearing of faith preached?
Are ye so foolish, that after ye haue begun in the Spirit, ye would now be made perfect by the flesh?
Haue ye suffered so many things in vaine? if so be it be euen in vaine.
He therefore that ministreth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it through the workes of the Law, or by the hearing of faith preached?
Yea rather as Abraham beleeued God, and it was imputed to him for righteousnes.
Knowe ye therefore, that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
