  1. nor things about to be, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of god, that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  9. for with the heart doth one believe to righteousness, and with the mouth is confession made to salvation;

  10. for to one through the Spirit hath been given a word of wisdom, and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;

  11. and to another faith in the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healings in the same Spirit;

  12. on every side being in tribulation, but not straitened; perplexed, but not in despair;

  13. persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

  14. wherefore, we faint not, but if also our outward man doth decay, yet the inward is renewed day by day;

  15. for the momentary light matter of our tribulation, more and more exceedingly an age-during weight of glory doth work out for us--

  16. we not looking to the things seen, but to the things not seen; for the things seen are temporary, but the things not seen are age-during.

  17. and He said to me, `Sufficient for thee is My grace, for My power in infirmity is perfected;' most gladly, therefore, will I rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of the Christ may rest on me:

  18. wherefore I am well pleased in infirmities, in damages, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses--for Christ; for whenever I am infirm, then I am powerful;

  19. O thoughtless Galatians, who did bewitch you, not to obey the truth--before whose eyes Jesus Christ was described before among you crucified?

  20. this only do I wish to learn from you--by works of law the Spirit did ye receive, or by the hearing of faith?

  21. so thoughtless are ye! having begun in the Spirit, now in the flesh do ye end?

  22. so many things did ye suffer in vain! if, indeed, even in vain.

  23. He, therefore, who is supplying to you the Spirit, and working mighty acts among you--by works of law or by the hearing of faith is it ?
