Key Bible Verses
Jesus saith to them: Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
And Jesus saith to them: Draw out now and carry to the chief steward of the feast. And they carried it.
And when the chief steward had tasted the water made wine and knew not whence it was, but the waiters knew who had drawn the water: the chief steward calleth the bridegroom,
And saith to him: Every man at first setteth forth good wine, and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse. But thou hast kept the good wine until now.
This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.
And an angel of the Lord descended at certain times into the pond and the water was moved. And he that went down first into the pond after the motion of the water was made whole of whatsoever infirmity he lay under.
He that believeth in me, as the scripture saith: Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Now this he said of the Spirit which they should receive who believed in him: for as yet the Spirit was not given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
And said to him: Go, wash in the pool of Siloe, which is interpreted, Sent. He went therefore and washed: and he came seeing.
That he might sanctify it, cleansing it by the laver of water in the word of life:
And divers washings and justices of the flesh laid on them until the time of correction.
For when every commandment of the law had been read by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people.
Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.
But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of the ungodly men.
And his feet like unto fine brass, as in a burning furnace. And his voice as the sound of many waters.
And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And the third part of the waters became wormwood. And many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
And the serpent cast out of his mouth, after the woman, water, as it were a river: that he might cause her to be carried away by the river.
And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea. And there came blood as it were of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
And the third poured out his vial upon the rivers and the fountains of waters. And there was made blood.
And I heard the angel of the waters saying: Thou art just, O Lord, who art and who wast, the Holy One, because thou hast judged these things.
And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven vials and spoke with me, saying: Come, I will shew thee the condemnation of the great harlot, who sitteth upon many waters:
And he said to me: The waters which thou sawest, where the harlot sitteth, are peoples and nations and tongues.
