Bible Verses About The Tribe Of Simeon

And again she conceived and bore a son, and said: Because the Lord heard that I was despised, he hath given this also to me: and she called his name Simeon.

Simeon and Levi brethren: vessels of iniquity waging war.

Let not my soul go into their counsel, nor my glory be in their assembly: because in their fury they slew a man, and in their self-will they undermined a wall.

Cursed be their fury, because it was stubborn: and their wrath, because it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and will scatter them in Israel.

And in the tribe of Simeon, the prince was Salamiel the son of Surisaddai.

Of the tribe of Ruben, Sammua the son of Zechur.

And there were slain four and twenty thousand men.

And the name of the Israelite, that was slain with the woman of Madian, was Zambri the son of Salu, a prince of the kindred and tribe of Simeon.

The sons of Simeon by their kindreds: Namuel, of him is the family of the Namuelites: Jamin, of him is the family of the Jaminites: Jachim, of him is the family of the Jachimites:

Zare, of him is the family of the Zarites: Saul, of him is the family of the Saulites.

These are the families of the stock of Simeon, of which the whole number was twenty-two thousand two hundred.

These shall stand upon mount Garizim to bless the people, when you are passed the Jordan: Simeon, Levi, Juda, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.
