  1. For she said within herself: If I shall touch only his garment, I shall be healed.

  2. But Jesus turning and seeing her, said: Be of good heart, daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

  3. And as Jesus passed from thence, there followed him two blind men crying out and saying, Have mercy on us, O Son of David.

  4. And when he was come to the house, the blind men came to him. And Jesus saith to them, Do you believe, that I can do this unto you? They say to him, Yea, Lord.

  7. And when they were gone out, behold they brought him a dumb man, possessed with a devil.

  8. And after the devil was cast out, the dumb man spoke, and the multitudes wondered, saying, Never was the like seen in Israel.

  9. And behold there was a man who had a withered hand, and they asked him, saying: Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

  10. But he said to them: What man shall there be among you, that hath one sheep: and if the same fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not take hold on it and lift it up?

  11. How much better is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do a good deed on the sabbath days.

  12. Then he saith to the man: Stretch forth thy hand; and he stretched it forth, and it was restored to health even as the other.

  13. And he coming forth saw a great multitude, and had compassion on them, and healed their sick.

  14. And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying: This is a desert place, and the hour is now passed: send away the multitudes, that going into the towns, they may buy themselves victuals.

  15. But Jesus said to them, They have no need to go: give you them to eat.

  16. They answered him: We have not here, but five loaves, and two fishes.

  17. Who said to them: Bring them hither to me.

  18. And when he had commanded the multitude to sit down upon the grass, he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.

  19. And they did all eat, and were filled. And they took up what remained, twelve full baskets of fragments.

  20. And the number of them that did eat, was five thousand men, besides women and children.

  21. And in the fourth watch of the night, he came to them walking upon the sea.

  22. And they seeing him walking upon the sea, were troubled, saying: It is an apparition. And they cried out for fear.

  23. And immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying: Be of good heart: it is I, fear ye not.

  24. And he said: Come. And Peter going down out of the boat walked upon the water to come to Jesus.

  25. And when they were come up into the boat, the wind ceased.
