  1. That with one mind and with one mouth you may glorify God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  10. Charity is patient, is kind: charity envieth not, dealeth not perversely, is not puffed up,

  11. Is not ambitious, seeketh not her own, is not provoked to anger, thinketh no evil:

  12. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth with the truth:

  13. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

  14. Charity never falleth away: whether prophecies shall be made void or tongues shall cease or knowledge shall be destroyed.

  15. For we know in part: and we prophesy in part.

  16. But when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away.

  17. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. But, when I became a man, I put away the things of a child.

  18. We see now through a glass in a dark manner: but then face to face. Now I know in part: but then I shall know even as I am known.

  19. And now there remain faith, hope, and charity, these three: but the greatest of these is charity.

  20. Awake, ye just, and sin not. For some have not the knowledge of God. I speak it to your shame.

  21. If then any be in Christ a new creature, the old things are passed away. Behold all things are made new.

  22. Him, who knew no sin, he hath made sin for us: that we might be made the justice of God in him.

  23. In the word of truth, in the power of God: by the armour of justice on the right hand and on the left:

  24. Bear not the yoke with unbelievers. For what participation hath justice with injustice? Or what fellowship hath light with darkness?

  25. For the sorrow that is according to God worketh penance, steadfast unto salvation: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
