  12. I am become a reproach among all my enemies, and very much to my neighbours; and a fear to my acquaintances. They that saw me without fled from me.

  13. Unto the end, in praises, a psalm for Asaph: a canticle to the Assyrians.

  14. In Judea God is known: his name is great in Israel.

  15. And his place is in peace: and his abode in Sion:

  16. There hath he broken the powers of bows, the shield, the sword, and the battle.

  17. Thou enlightenest wonderfully from the everlasting hills.

  18. All the foolish of heart were troubled. They have slept their sleep; and all the men of riches have found nothing in their hands.

  19. At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, they have all slumbered that mounted on horseback.

  21. Thou hast caused judgment to be heard from heaven: the earth trembled and was still,

  22. When God arose in judgment, to save all the meek of the earth.

  24. O God, be not thou silent in my praise: for the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful man is opened against me.

  25. They have spoken against me with deceitful tongues; and they have compassed me about with words of hatred; and have fought against me without cause.
