Key Bible Verses
Now the Spirit manifestly saith that in the last times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to spirits of error and doctrines of devils,
God, who, at sundry times and in divers manners, spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophets, last of all,
For if the word spoken by angels became steadfast and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward:
And Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be said:

Who by faith conquered kingdoms, wrought justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, recovered strength from weakness, became valiant in battle, put to flight the armies of foreigners.

And others had trial of mockeries and stripes: moreover also of bands and prisons.
They were stoned, they were cut asunder, they were tempted, they were put to death by the sword, they wandered about in sheepskins, in goatskins, being in want, distressed, afflicted:
Of whom the world was not worthy: wandering in deserts, in mountains and in dens and in caves of the earth.
And all these, being approved by the testimony of faith, received not the promise:
God providing some better thing for us, that they should not be perfected without us.
Take, my brethren, for example of suffering evil, of labour and patience, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and diligently searched, who prophesied of the grace to come in you.
Searching what or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ in them did signify, when it foretold those sufferings that are in Christ and the glories that should follow.
For prophecy came not by the will of man at any time: but the holy men of God spoke, inspired by the Holy Ghost.
But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be among you lying teachers who shall bring in sects of perdition and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their riotousness, through whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
Now of these Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying: Behold, the Lord cometh with thousands of his saints:
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to make known to his servants the things which must shortly come to pass: and signified, sending by his angel to his servant John,
He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: To him that overcometh I will give to eat of the tree of life which is in the paradise of my God.
But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound the trumpet, the mystery of God shall be finished, as he hath declared by his servants the prophets.
And I will give unto my two witnesses: and they shall prophesy, a thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.
And I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord. From henceforth now, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours. For their works follow them.
