  1. He set the candlestick also in the tabernacle of the testimony, over against the table on the south side,

  9. When they went into the tabernacle of the covenant, and went to the altar, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

  10. He set up also the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, drawing the hanging in the entry thereof. After all things were perfected,

  11. The cloud covered the tabernacle of the testimony, and the glory of the Lord filled it.

  12. Neither could Moses go into the tabernacle of the covenant, the cloud covering all things, and the majesty of the Lord shining, for the cloud had covered all.

  13. If at any time the cloud removed from the tabernacle, the children of Israel went forward by their troops:

  14. If it hung over, they remained in the same place.

  15. For the cloud of the Lord hung over the tabernacle by day, and a fire by night, in the sight of all the children of Israel throughout all their mansions.

  16. But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

  17. For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

  18. And the Lord spoke to Moses in the desert of Sinai in the tabernacle of the covenant, the first day of the second month, the second year of their going out of Egypt, saying:

  19. Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel by their families, and houses, and the names of every one, as many as are of the male sex,

  20. From twenty years old and upwards, of all the men of Israel fit for war, and you shall number them by their troops, thou and Aaron.

  21. And there shall be with you the princes of the tribes, and of the houses in their kindreds,

  22. Whose names are these: Of Ruben, Elisur the son of Sedeur.

  23. Of Simeon, Salamiel the son of Surisaddai.

  24. Of Juda, Nahasson the son of Aminadab.

  25. Of Issachar, Nathanael the son of Suar.
