  1. For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as if we reached not unto you. For we are come as far as to you in the Gospel of Christ.

  18. For although he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him: but we shall live with him by the power of God towards you.

  19. Try your own selves if you be in the faith: prove ye yourselves. Know you not your own selves, that Christ Jesus is in you, unless perhaps you be reprobates?

  20. Therefore I write these things, being absent, that, being present, I may not deal more severely, according to the power which the Lord hath given me unto edification and not unto destruction.

  21. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

  22. Paul, an apostle, not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead:

  23. Grace be to you, and peace from God the Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ,

  24. Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present wicked world, according to the will of God and our Father:

  25. I wonder that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ, unto another gospel.
